研究方向:
  

植物天然产物合成;酵母基因组工程

针对具有重要药用价值和应用价值的植物天然产物,从“生物元件的功能筛选与设计改造”和“细胞工厂的系统构建与过程优化”两方面开展系统研究。结合基因组学、计算生物学、合成生物学方法,解析自然界植物天然产物复杂的生物代谢途径、探究生物合成的基本规律与生物催化的反应机理,对天然产物合成过程涉及的关键催化元件进行挖掘和改造、对微生物宿主细胞进行代谢工程及生产过程优化,革新植物天然产物制造模式。已成功实现心脑血管疾病特效药灯盏乙素、美白剂根皮素、抗炎化合物白杨素及其衍生物、甜味剂新橙皮苷查耳酮、抗抑郁新药物苔黑酚糖苷、抗癌药物紫杉醇中间体等20余种化合物的生物合成。
